Catalogues Overview

When processing transactions certain users might be limited to specific goods and services. These sets of goods and services are stored in catalogues. Catalogues contain a list of defined items with a related item code; however, which catalogues users have access to is defined within their

security profile.

Neither catalogues or related items are restricted to a given company; however, each item contains security options that can be specific to a given company.

Therefore, if your Compleat system is multi-company, and has items that have company-specific security options then we recommend that you make these items and their related catalogues company specific. You can do this by including the company within both the item and catalogue description.
